History of the Beach Pants:

When Gecko first relaunched, we re-issued our original beach pants in Nylon only. Nylon is great, because it\'s lightweight, water repellent, dries fast -- however, thousands of you asked if we could bring back the original versions -- in cotton. 

It\'s not that we didn\'t want to -- the reason is, that we actually couldn\'t, because technology had changed so much from the 80\'s, that there was literally NO WHERE that could print patterns on cotton and make the colors as bright and bold as the originals  -- nylon was the closest we could come. 

Now, 3.5 years later we finally made it happen! We can just about guarantee there is NO OTHER PLACE you can get cotton pattern pants with colors this bold!

These pants are rad to the core and are so iconic, they are guaranteed to hit the \"nostalgia\" center of your brain!  We\'ve updated our beach pants slightly since we first brought them back -- and these are the most comfortable to date! The waist is more stretchy and roomy and relaxed than before -- and we\'ve also added a Gecko shoestring, so that you can tighten them if needed to that perfectly comfy fit!
